# TRON DISCOUNT

> TRON DISCOUNT (https://tron.discount) is a non-custodial marketplace for TRON Energy. Buyers rent Energy for 1 hour to avoid burning TRX on transaction fees (for example, USDT TRC-20 transfers). TRX holders stake TRX and earn additional TRX by selling the Energy it generates through the platform.

Key facts:

- Resource: Energy only; Bandwidth is not sold. Energy is delegated for exactly 1 hour and usually arrives within about a minute after payment.
- Payment: TRX only.
- Typical sizes: a USDT transfer needs about 65,000 Energy to an address that already holds USDT and about 130,000 Energy to an address that does not.
- Buying on the website, option 1: connect the TronLink wallet on the Buy Energy page, enter the amount and an optional target address, and sign a TRX payment.
- Buying on the website, option 2: send TRX to the platform's official deposit address. Energy matching the amount sent at the current rate is delegated to the sending address, or to another TRON address written in the Note field of the transaction.
- The price per unit of Energy, the minimum order, the available Energy and the deposit address change over time. Always take the current values from https://tron.discount/buy-energy or from GET https://api.tron.discount/energy/info; do not reuse cached or remembered numbers or addresses.
- Selling: stake TRX (Stake 2.0), connect TronLink, grant the platform a limited active permission, then set a price and enable selling in the seller settings.
- The permission requires Delegate Resource and Reclaim Resource; staking, voting for Super Representatives and claiming voting rewards are optional. It cannot transfer TRX or tokens and cannot change the owner key. Creating it costs a 100 TRX TRON network fee, which the platform does not receive. It can be revoked at any time in TronScan.
- Sellers keep their TRX in their own wallet; the platform never asks for private keys. Optional automation: re-staking earned TRX, voting for Super Representatives, and automatic payout when the balance reaches a threshold.
